J&J: researchers mobilised around 'Omicron' variant

(CercleFinance.com) - J&J has announced that it is evaluating the efficacy of its vaccine and booster doses against the new "Omicron" variant of the coronavirus.


While the company says that it is "confident" about the strength of the immune response induced by its vaccine, J&J says its researchers have already begun work to design and develop a new vaccine against Omicron, i.e. a new serum that could rapidly progress to clinical studies if necessary.
