JPMorgan: Q3 EPS above estimates

(CercleFinance.com) - JPMorgan Chase has reported Q3 2019 net profit that is up 8% at 9.
08 billion dollars, or 2.68 dollars per share, i.e. EPS that beat the consensus by over 20 cents.

The banking group's revenues increased by 8% to 30.1 billion dollars, thanks to a 14% increase in non-interest income, while net interest income rose by just 2% under the weight of current interest rates.

Consumption remains strong, although this has been offset by a weaker sentiment for business and investment, mainly due to increasingly complex geopolitical risks, Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon said.
