IBM: extends partnership with Atos in finance

(CercleFinance.com) - Atos is to deepen its partnership with US IT giant IBM, with both groups today announcing their intention to strengthen their joint offering in financial services.


Atos and IBM say that they want to help financial services companies achieve "optimal" security of their data and systems through the EU trusted third party cybersecurity monitoring service that will be provided by Atos.

The IT services company will enable organisations that use IBM's cloud solution for the financial services sector to benefit from its security expertise through its security operations centre in France.

This site will be responsible for continuous monitoring of the IBM Cloud infrastructure through security incident detection, analysis and notification, to ensure that any threats are addressed immediately.

The service aims to meet the regulatory obligations of financial institutions from more than 75 financial services regulators in 24 countries, including jurisdictions in Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific.
