IBM: Q4 EPS just beats estimates

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening IBM announced Q4 2019 operating (non-GAAP) net income that is down 5% at 4.
2 billion dollars, meaning operating (non-GAAP) EPS of 4.71 dollars, three cents above the consensus.

The IT giant's revenue remained sluggish at 21.8 billion dollars in gross terms, but was up 3% organically, supported by organic growth of 23% in cloud revenue, while its adjusted gross margin improved by 2.3 points to 51.8%.

Posting FY 2019 operating EPS of 12.81 dollars, in line with its estimate provided three months ago, the group based in Armonk (New York State), expects EPS to be at least 13.35 dollars for this new fiscal year.
