IBM: France's Boursorama renews cloud deal

(CercleFinance.com) - Boursorama, a subsidiary of Société Générale, has renewed an agreement with IBM by signing a new hybrid cloud contract for five more years.


Under the terms of the deal, the online broker will be able to use new IBM cloud services for its banking business, including cloud infrastructure, software as a service (SaaS), and enhanced cybersecurity services.

Since 2016, Boursorama's client base has doubled, reaching 1.7 million.

The original 2014 infrastructure agreement with IBM was set up to support operations and compliance with regulatory requirements, especially from the European Central Bank.
