Honeywell: first trading day of Resideo on 15 October

(CercleFinance.com) - Honeywell shareholders will receive one Resideo share for every six shares they own as part of the spin-off of the group's home comfort and security unit, the US company said on Wednesday.


In a statement, the conglomerate also announced a pro-rata dividend of Resideo to be made on 29 October to Honeywell's shareholders on record as of 16 October.

It is expected that Resideo shares will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange around Monday 15 October.

Resideo's spin-off marks the final step of the portfolio transformation that Honeywell announced in October 2017 as the spin-off of Garrett - its former transportation systems business - was completed on 1 October.
