Honeywell: slightly beats consensus in Q4

(CercleFinance.com) - Honeywell has reported Q4 2017 adjusted EPS that it up 6% at 1.
85 dollar, i.e. one cent above the consensus, for a 0.3-point improvement in margin of segments to 19.3% and revenues that are up 9% at 10.8 billion dollars (+6% in organic terms).

Over the past year, the industrial conglomerate thus recorded an adjusted EPS that is up 10% at 7.11 dollars, hence exceeding its target of 7.10 dollars - announced in mid-December - by one cent.

Furthermore, Honeywell says that it will raise its adjusted EPS target range for 2018 by 20 cents, expecting between 7.75 dollars and 8 dollars, because of the impact of tax reforms in the US, which should bring its effective tax rate down to between 22% and 23%.
