HPE: adjusted EPS beats consensus in Q3

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday night Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced Q3 2019-20 adjusted EPS that is down 29% at 32 cents, ten cents above the consensus, with an adjusted operating margin that is down 2.
8 points at 7.1%.

The IT group's adjusted gross margin fell by 3.5 points to 30.4%, with revenues down 6% at 6.8 billion dollars (-4% at constant exchange rates), although they were up 13% sequentially.

For FY 2019-20, HPE expects adjusted EPS of between 1.30-1.34 dollar, including 32 to 36 cents for its fourth quarter, for which it has also announced a quarterly dividend of 12 cents per share, payable on 7 October.
