HP Inc: acquires Poly for $3.3bn

(CercleFinance.com) - HP Inc has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Poly, a global provider of workplace collaboration solutions, in a cash transaction for 40 dollars per share, representing a total enterprise value of 3.
3 billion dollars.

The hardware group says that the acquisition accelerates its strategy to create a more growth-oriented portfolio, and further strengthens its industry opportunities in hybrid workplace solutions.

HP expects an immediate accretive impact from the deal - both in terms of revenue growth, margins and adjusted EPS - once completed, which is expected by the end of 2022, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions.

However the HP Inc. share is down over 4.5% in early trading today.
