Goodyear: Q2 EPS up nearly a half

(CercleFinance.com) - Goodyear has reported Q2 2022 adjusted EPS of 0.
46 dollars, up from 0.32 dollar a year ago, with adjusted segment operating profit that is up 7% at 372 million dollars.

Sales rose 31% to 5.2 billion dollars, an increase which it says is attributable to the merger with Cooper Tire, the benefit of strong pricing actions in many key markets and volume growth.

It adds that with sales growth (reaching a 10-year high), it has continued to increase earnings, despite high inflation and Covid-related disruptions in China.
