GE: to supply solar technology to Turkey

(CercleFinance.com) - GE has announced that it has been selected by Ecogreen Energy to supply its FLEXINVERTER solar power plant technology for the 130 MWp and 100 MWac Nigde Bor solar power plant to be built in Nigde, Turkey.


The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement and commissioning of the solar power plant.

This project is in addition to the 1.3 GW of solar projects GE is delivering in Turkey.

GE says its FLEXINVERTER solar power plant is an integrated containerized solution that, amongst other things, combines, a solar inverter and a medium-voltage power transformer within a standard 20-foot ISO container (about 6.1 m) .
