GE: Eastgate Engineering to partner in Dogger Bank project

(CercleFinance.com) - GE Renewable Energy today announced that it has selected Eastgate Engineering, a company based in Teesside, UK, to provide mechanical and electrical engineering support for the pre-assembly of the Haliade-X turbine towers and nacelles that will be used in the Dogger Bank offshore wind farm.


The work will be carried out at the port of Able Seaton, the assembly site for the Dogger Bank offshore wind farm.

Work began in January 2023 and is expected to continue throughout the three phases of pre-assembly of the Dogger Bank wind farm, which is expected to be completed in 2026.
