GE: launches solution for airlines

(CercleFinance.com) - GE Digital announces the release of a new software solution that will be integrated in Teradata Vantage, a cloud-based data analysis platform that uses aviation data.


Called Flight Data Link, the new solution will help accelerate the digital transformation of airlines, reducing expenses and improving understanding of operations by integrating customer, maintenance and supply chain data, GE Digital said.

In particular, the solution will enable airlines to perform complex analyses of flights, routes or fleet assets, therefore obtaining "new information" about their airline, it added.
