Meta: stock up on broker comments
(CercleFinance.com) - Mizuho Securities has reiterated its "buy" rating on Meta Platforms, with a target price of 325 dollars, as Sheryl Sandberg, Meta's chief operating officer, announced on Facebook her decision to leave the company after 14 years.
She will remain on the company's board of directors.
It is expected that Javier Olivan, until now the group's director of growth, will succeed her, Mizuho Securities says.
The broker says that this choice should enable a smooth transition, even if Sheryl Sandberg's experience "will be difficult to replace".
The share closed up over 5% at almost 199 dollars yesterday, although is still far from its peak of almost 380 dollars reached last September.
