eBay: expands authentication service into luxury jewelry

(CercleFinance.com) - eBay has announced the expansion of its authentication service into the luxury jewelry category, just in time for the holiday season.


eBay's "Authenticate" service, which launched in the luxury handbags category in 2017 and luxury watches earlier this year, will now cover more than 45,000 high-end diamonds, necklaces, earrings, rings, and bracelets verified by professional authenticators, the online retailer said.

The certified jewelry will be marked with an "authenticity verified" label, eBay said.
