DowDuPont: Q1 exceeds expectations

(CercleFinance.com) - DowDuPont has posted Q1 adjusted EPS that is down around 25% at 84 cents, while the consensus was only expecting just under 60 cents.
The group also announced operating EBITDA of 4 billion dollars.

At 19.6 billion dollars, the chemist's revenues are down 9% due to a 4% fall in local prices, FX factors of -3% and a 2% drop in volumes, which fell significantly in North America (-7%).

The Wilmington, Delaware-based group said that the separation of Dow was completed on 1 April and that it remains on track for the separation of Corteva Agriscience and DuPont on 1 June.
