Dollar General: FY EPS down 4.2%

(CercleFinance.com) - Dollar General has reported FY 2021 EPS of 10.
17 dollars, down 4.2% y-o-y. Net sales came in at 34.2 billion dollars in 2021, up 1.4% from 2020, while operating profit fell 9.4% to 3.2 billion dollars.

Q4 EPS reached 2.57 dollars, down 1.9% y-o-y, while quarterly net sales were 8.7 billion dollars, down 2.8%, with operating profit of 796.7 million dollars, down 8.7%.

For FY 2022, Dollar General expects net sales to rise 10%, with EPS increasing by 12% to 14%.
