Delta Airlines: making money again in Q1

(CercleFinance.com) - Delta Airlines has reported adjusted EPS of $0.
25 for Q1 2023, compared with a loss of $1.23 per share a year ago, with its operating income reaching $546m, i.e. a margin of 4.6%.

Its operating revenue reached $11.8bn, up 45% y-o-y and 14% higher than in Q1 2019, including a one-point impact on lower-than-expected flight capacity.

Delta expects record revenue, with an adjusted operating margin of 14% to 16% and EPS of $2 to $2.25 for the June quarter. The airline says that it is confident in its full-year guidance of 15% to 20% revenue growth with EPS of five to six dollars.
