Delta Airlines: Q3 beats consensus

(CercleFinance.com) - Delta Airlines has posted Q3 adjusted EPS that is up 29% at 2.
32 dollars, exceeding the consensus by five cents, driven by a 6.5% increase in total adjusted revenues to 12.6 billion dollars.

The Atlanta-based group said that its revenues were boosted by record traffic of 55.2 million passengers who travelled with the airline over the quarter, while adjusted unit revenue grew by 2.5%.

"Demand for the Delta product remains healthy, positioning the company for a strong close to 2019," said CEO Ed Bastian, who expects earnings growth of over 20% in 2019.
