Comcast: to offer peacock to Sky clients in Europe

(CercleFinance.com) - Comcast has announced that NBCUniversal and Sky will make the US video streaming service Peacock available to approximately 20 million Sky customers in Europe at no additional cost.


Over the next few months, Peacock will make its international debut on Sky's various platforms, which currently have clients in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Austria and Switzerland.

The Sky deal represents Peacock's first international expansion since its launch in the US last summer. In the past year, 54 million clients have signed up for Peacock in the US.
