Comcast: beats consensus in Q3
(CercleFinance.com) - Comcast has reported Q3 adjusted EPS that is up 16.
2% at 79 cents, beating the consensus by five cents, while its adjusted EBITDA rose by 17% to 8.55 billion dollars. At over 26.8 billion dollars, the cable operator's revenues, which is also the parent company of NBCUniversal and Sky, increased by 21.2%. At its cable business alone, revenues increased by 4%. "Cable had its highest third quarter broadband net additions in 10 years, which drove its best quarterly net additions in total customer relationships on record," said Chairman and CEO Brian L Roberts.
