Coca-Cola: strategic reorganisation and redundancy plan

(CercleFinance.com) - Coca-Cola announces a strategic reorganization, with the creation of nine new operational units focused on regional and local projects, working closely with five global marketing teams divided by product categories.


These structural changes will be accompanied by a reallocation of resources with a voluntary and compulsory redundancy plan, which the soft drinks giant says would cost 350-550 million dollars.

A program of voluntary departures will first be offered to about 4,000 employees in the US who have recently joined the group, and then a similar program will be presented in many other countries.
