Citigroup: CEO to retire in February 2021

(CercleFinance.com) - Citigroup has announced that, after a 37-year career with the US banking giant, the last 8 of which he has been CEO, Michael Corbat plans to retire and leave the Board of Directors in February 2021.


The board has appointed Jane Fraser, currently President and CEO of the Global Consumer Banking business since 2019, to succeed him as group CEO in February. Joining the board immediately. Ms. Fraser has worked for Citigroup for the past 16 years.
