Chevron: Jefferies says 'buy' adjusts target price

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday an analyst at Jefferies confirmed a "buy" rating on the Chevron share, while correcting the corresponding target price, pending an analysts' meeting scheduled for early March.


"We believe the company is taking the right steps within its
control to win back investors by maintaining capital discipline, growing the already hefty dividend and executing a meaningful buyback program," the broker said.

Jefferies has therefore cut its target price for the share from 143 dollars to 137 dollars.
