Caterpillar: Q2 EPS up 22%
(CercleFinance.com) - Caterpillar has reported Q2 2022 adjusted EPS (excluding restructuring costs) of 3.
18 dollars, up 22% from the 2.60 dollars in Q2 2021, despite an operating margin that is down 0.3 point to 13.6%.
The construction equipment giant reported revenue of 14.2 billion dollars, up 11% y-o-y, mainly thanks to favourable pricing and higher sales volumes.
The group said that its teams delivered another good quarter, despite ongoing supply chain challenges, with results reflecting healthy demand in most of its end markets.
