CVS Health: raises targets for 2022
(CercleFinance.com) - On its quarterly earnings release, CVS Health said that it has nudged up its guidance for adjusted EPS for 2022 to 8.
40-8.60 dollars (from 8.20-8.40 dollars), while now expecting FCF from operations to be between 12.5 and 13.5 billion dollars (from 12-13 billion dollars previously).
The drugstore chain posted adjusted Q2 2022 EPS of 2.40 dollars, just down from 2.42 dollars a year earlier, on sales that increased 11% to just over 80.6 billion dollars.
Management said that despite a challenging economic environment, its differentiated business model helped drive strong results this quarter, with significant revenue growth across all businesses.
