Boeing: 1.7 billion dollar contract with US Air Force
(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing announces that the US Air Force has awarded it a 1.
7 billion dollar contract for twelve KC-46A tanker aircraft. With this sixth production batch, Boeing is now contracted for 79 KC-46A. The first of these was delivered to the Air Force in January 2019. 42 others followed, delivered to four different bases. Built in Everett, Washington State, the KC-46A is a multi-role tanker designed to refuel military aircraft, although it can also transport passengers, goods and patients.
