Boeing: deals with Ghana and Air Astana

(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing and the Republic of Ghana signed a memorandum of understanding at the Dubai Air Show for three 787.
9 Dreamliner aircraft worth 875.5 million dollars at catalogue prices.

The 787-9 can carry 296 passengers and travel up to 7,530 nautical miles (13,950 km) while reducing fuel consumption and emissions by 20%-25% compared to older aircraft.

Every day, there are over 1,600 commercial flights on a 787 Dreamliner. This means that somewhere in the world, a 787 Dreamliner takes off every minute.

Boeing also announces that Air Astana (Kazakhstan) has signed a letter of intent to buy 30 Boeing 737 MAX 8s with a catalogue price of 3.6 billion dollars.

Air Astana has steadily developed since it started business in May 2002, from its hubs located in Almaty and Nur-Sultan (formerly Astana), creating a network serving the main cities of Kazakhstan, Central Asia, Asia, China, Europe and Russia.
