American Express: a new head of GBT

(CercleFinance.com) - The American Express group today announces the appointment of a new President and CEO for American Express Global Business Travel (GBT), a joint venture that is partly owned by American Express Company and its subsidiaries.


Paul Abott will take up his new role on 1 October 2019, succeeding Doug Anderson.

American Express said that GBT is now in a position to continue its development and M&A business, supported by its investments in cutting-edge technologies and its leadership in customer service.
