Altria: new share repurchase program

(CercleFinance.com) - When it published its Q4 2020 results, Altria said that its Board of Directors has authorised a new share repurchase program amounting to 2 billion dollars.
It is set to be completed by the end of June.

The tobacco giant's adjusted EPS fell by 2% to 99 cents for the past quarter, slightly below consensus, for revenues that are up 4.9% to 6.3 billion dollars (+5.3% for revenues net of excise taxes).

With FY 2020 adjusted EPS that is up 3.6% at 4.36 dollars, Altria said it expects a target range of 4.49-4.62 dollars for 2021, which would mean growth of between 3% and 6%.
