Alphabet: Q3 earnings up 68%

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening Alphabet reported a 68% increase in net profit to over 18.
9 billion dollars for Q3 2021, or 27.99 dollars per share, with an operating margin that improved by eight points to 32%.

The technology giant, which includes the search engine Google and streaming channel YouTube, saw revenues rise 41% (+39% at constant exchange rates) to 65.1 billion dollars.

The company said that its consistent investments to support long-term growth are reflected in its strong financial performance, which highlighted the development of Google Cloud, which generated nearly five billion dollars in revenue.

After closing up over 1% yesterday, the share is currently down about 0.5% in pre-market trading today.
