Alphabet: Android to offer alternative search engines

(CercleFinance.com) - In accordance with the group's commitment (and for European directives), new users of Android, Google's mobile operating system, now have the choice between four default search engines.


Thus, in France, these are Duckduckgo, Qwant, Info.com and, of course Google. Operating on an auction system, the list of alternative engines could be changed by this summer.

Duckduckgo and Qwant are two search engines that strive to preserve the privacy of its users, while Info.com is the least known of these three.
