Activization Blizzard: EPS well below expectations

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday evening Activision Blizzard reported adjusted EPS (non-GAAP) that is down 31% at 62 cents for the last three months of 2019, almost 20 cents higher than its latest forecast, although just half the consensus.


The video games publisher, whose portfolio includes "Call of Duty" and "World of Warcraft," reported an adjusted operating margin of 30%, for revenues that are down 16% at 1.99 billion dollars, including 1.44 billion dollars from digital channels.

Activision Blizzard reported FY 2019 adjusted EPS of 2.31 dollars, along with revenues of 6.49 billion dollars, and says that it expects corresponding figures of 2.22 dollars and 6.45 billion dollars respectively this fiscal year.
