AT&T: Q1 EPS down 9%

(CercleFinance.com) - AT&T has reported adjusted Q1 2022 EPS of 0.
77 dollar for the first three months of 2022, compared with 0.85 dollar a year ago, on revenues that are down 13.3% at 38.1billiin dollars.

The telecoms operator says that the decline reflects the impact of divested businesses, primarily video in the US in Q3 2021 and Vrio in Q4 2021, as well as lower revenues in the enterprise wireline business.

However, it said that these declines were partially offset by higher revenues from the mobile business and, to a lesser extent, higher revenues from WarnerMedia, the consumer wireline business and Mexico.
