AT&T: names former BET Networks chief to board

(CercleFinance.com) - AT&T said on Monday that it has appointed Debra Lee, the former chairman and CEO of TV entertainment channel BET Networks, to its board of directors.


"Debra's outstanding leadership, deep expertise and strong track record in the entertainment and media industry will be terrific additions to our board of directors,” said AT&T chairman and CEO Randall Stephenson.

Lee features on The Hollywood Reporter's "100 Most Powerful Women in Entertainment" list.

BET Networks, a subsidiary of Viacom, is a music and news television channel dedicated to the Afro-American community.
