AT&T: raises dividend 2% on 'strong outlook'
(CercleFinance.com) - Late on Thursday US telecom and media giant AT&T raised its quarterly dividend by 2% to 51 cents a share, citing a healthy cash flow and a strong outlook for 2019.
The raise will mark the company's 35th consecutive year of payout increases, it said in a statement.
The annual dividend will increase from 2 dollars to 2.04 dollars per share.
The quarterly dividend will be paid on 1 February 2019 to shareholders on record as at the close of business on 10 January 2019.
