Alfa Laval: signs energy efficiency deal with Schneider

(CercleFinance.com) - Swedish engineering firm Alfa Laval said on Wednesday it would collaborate with French electrical equipment maker Schneider Electric to improve its energy performance.


As part of the deal, an extension of a previous partnership, the two companies will digitise and analyse data to improve operational efficiency, using near real-time energy consumption data across sites, countries and regions to identify efficiency projects.

Alfa's collaboration deal with Schneider began in 2019 and was designed to digitise the company's energy infrastructure.

Alfa Laval vows to become carbon neutral across its entire value chain by 2030.
