Alfa Laval: launches new stainless steel heat exchanger

(CercleFinance.com) - Alfa Laval is launching a new stainless steel heat exchanger that eliminates the risk of unsafe drinking and tap water due to metal release from equipment made from nickel and copper.


Many of the heat exchanger technologies still used in tap and warm-water applications leak traces of nickel and copper into water supplies, the Swedish engineering group said in a statement.

Alfa added that its heat exchangers are made from up to 90% of recycled materials.
