Ericsson: extends partnership with Virgin Media O2

(CercleFinance.com) - Ericsson and Virgin Media O2 have announced that they are extending their partnership to bring greater 4G and 5G coverage and capacity to major cities across the UK.


The companies have entered into a new multi-million pound contract to deploy the latest products and solutions from Ericsson's radio systems portfolio in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Additional service upgrades and small cell solutions are included as part of the network upgrade that will provide Virgin Media O2 customers in major cities across the UK with increased mobile capacity, better coverage, faster speeds and an improved 4G and 5G experience.
