Ericsson: launches AI-powered network service platform

(CercleFinance.com) - Ericsson said that it has launched two new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered offerings to help communications service providers to address exponential data growth and new technologies such as 5G.


The two new additions to the telecom gear maker's network services portfolio use AI, automation and predictive analytics so carriers can secure their networks and optimise user experiences.

Ericsson says network intelligence is capable of reducing critical incidents by up to 35%.

The Swedish telecoms equipment maker has also launched a new energy management solution that leverages artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics to optimise energy consumption across network infrastructure for communications service providers.
