Ericsson: messaging licensing agreement with Sinch

(CercleFinance.com) - Swedish cloud communications platform Sinch said on Monday that it has struck a licensing deal with Ericsson, securing over 15 new mobile operator orders as a supplier to the network giant.


The licensing agreement includes software license, integration projects and customer support for short message service center, SMS firewall, and application-to-person SMS Gateway to service providers in the Americas, Europe and Africa, the company said.

Sinch said it has already been able to further increase sales in the messaging segment by leveraging the strength of Ericsson, and hopes to work with the network gear maker on further business opportunities worldwide.
