Equinor: 3-year extension to contract with CGG

(CercleFinance.com) - CGG has announced a three-year extension (from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2024), of the dedicated imaging centre operated at Equinor's offices in Stavanger for permanent reservoir monitoring (PRM).


In order to optimise production management and recovery from the Johan Sverdrup, Snorre and Grane fields in the Norwegian North Sea, Equinor's teams analyse 4D seismic images provided by CGG's subsurface imaging specialists within days of acquisition.

In this renewed contract, CGG's experts in Norway will leverage their latest high-end 4D and velocity model technologies to meet the client's requirements by delivering the highest quality subsurface images within a tight timeframe.
