Equinor: signs contract with TechnipFMC

(CercleFinance.com) - TechnipFMC has been awarded an engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract for Equinor's Smørbukk North field development.


The contract includes a high-pressure, high-temperature subsea production system and associated equipment for a tie-in in the Åsgard field on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The installation will be carried out with TechnipFMC's battery-powered hybrid vessel, which will reduce greenhouse gas emissions through lower fuel consumption.
