Telenor: Q3 earnings slump

(CercleFinance.com) - Norwegian operator Telenor has reported Q3 revenues of 28.
4 billion Norwegian kronor, up 4.5% y-o-y.

Meanwhile, EBITDA was 31 billion Norwegian kronor, up 2.5% y-o-y.

The Nordic and Asian telecom group reported a net attributable profit of 1.5 billion Norwegian kronor, compared to 2.6 billion Norwegian kronor twelve months earlier. Telenor added that its net profit was heavily impacted by unfavourable FX factors stemming from the strengthening of the USD against the Norwegian kronor.

In terms of its FY outlook, Telenor still expects low single-digit growth in service revenues.

The share is down slightly (0.6%) on these announcements today.
