Technip Energies: targets raised after strong H1

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday Technip Energies raised its margin forecast for 2022 in the wake of a solid performance in the first half of the year.


The French equipment and engineering services group for the energy sector now says it is targeting an adjusted recurrent EBIT margin of at least 6.8% for the full year, excluding the Arctic LNG 2 project.

This is slightly above its previous forecast of an Ebit margin of over 6.5%.

H1 sales just increased to 3,267 million euros (vs. 3,243.2 million euros in H1 2021.

Recurrent EBIT was stable at 204.4 million euros, compared to 204.5 million euros last year, with a stable operating margin of 6.3%.

However, net profit increased 31¨% to 131.5 million euros, from 100.3 million euros in H1 2021.
