Technip Energies: contract award for the Ghasha mega project

(CercleFinance.com) - Technip Energies announces that it has been awarded a contract by the Abu Dhabi Oil Company (ADNOC) for the front-end engineering design (FEED) of the Ghasha mega-project, the world's largest offshore sour gas development.


The concession area is expected to produce over 42 million cubic metres per day of natural gas, as well as condensate and oil. In addition, CO2 capture, dehydration and export will be integrated into the project's facilities.

Production start-up is planned for 2025, with the aim of reaching full production capacity by the end of the decade. The overall objective of FEED will be to optimise the costs of this development and accelerate the integration of carbon capture.
