Ahold Delhaize: 27 million euro share buyback

(CercleFinance.com) - Retail giant Ahold Delhaize said on Tuesday that it has bought back 27 million euros worth of its own shares as part of a share buyback program that began last year.


The Dutch-based supermarket operator said in a regulatory filing that it has acquired 1.4 million of Ahold Delhaize common shares from 3 April to 6 April at an average price of 19.3 euros.

These repurchases were made as part of the two billion euro share buyback program announced in November 2017.

To date, 27.6 million shares have been repurchased under the program, for a total value of 501.7 million euros.
