Altice: Altice USA returns to profit in 2017

(CercleFinance.com) - Altice has announced that its division Altice USA, which is soon to be split, has posted net profit of over 1.
5 billion dollars over 2017, following a net loss of 831 million dollars in 2016.

Aurel BGC nevertheless said that without the contribution of a gain of 2.42 billion dollars stemming from the US tax reform, the entity would have made a full-year loss.

The broker's analysts add that Altice USA targets 2018 sales growth of between 2.5% and 3%, after a 1.9% increase in 2017 sales to 9.33 billion dollars (+3.2% excluding Newsday).
