FCA: bringing Amazon's Alexa to its vehicles

(CercleFinance.com) - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will be the first carmaker to introduce Amazon's virtual assistant Alexa into its vehicles, it announced on Friday.


While FCA's "Uconnect" system is set to remain the product specialist with features specific to the vehicle, Amazon's robotic voice assistant will help drivers on topics like weather, smart home control, or music, the company said.

The auto giant said it has already begun the planning process for the integration of the Alexa assistant into its future models.
