FCA: names supply chain chief

(CercleFinance.com) - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, the world's eighth largest car maker, on Tuesday named Carl Smiley to the new position of chief purchasing and supply chain officer.


Smiley joins FCA with a lot of automotive experience, having served as senior vice president and general manager for Asia Pacific at TE Connectivity, a Swiss manufacturer of electronics and sensors, since 2012.

Smiley has also been appointed on the company's executive council, the highest operational body within FCA.
